- Professional advisors. Attorneys, accountants, lenders, brokers, and SBA-approved advisors when necessary to evaluate a business or satisfy a legal or regulatory requirement.
- Legal and compliance. Government authorities, the SBA, certification bodies, or other parties when required by law, regulation, subpoena, or valid legal process.
- Business transfers. As part of a merger, financing, or sale of all or part of Jasta Alliance's assets.
4. Confidentiality of Acquisition Communications
Information shared with us in connection with a potential business acquisition — including teasers, CIMs, financial statements, and ownership information — is treated as confidential. Where a non-disclosure agreement is in place, that agreement controls over this Policy. We recommend that sellers and brokers use a signed NDA before sharing sensitive information.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, to comply with legal and tax obligations, and to exercise or defend legal claims. Acquisition-related records may be retained for the duration of SBA loan obligations and any applicable certification compliance periods.
6. Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we handle, including Google Workspace's enterprise security controls. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security of any information you transmit to us.
7. Your Choices
You may choose not to provide personal information, though this may limit our ability to respond to you. You may request that we delete information you have provided by contacting us at the email below. We will honor deletion requests to the extent consistent with our legal obligations.
8. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
